Made The Big Jump! I'm Now Working Solely For Myself :)

So over a year and a half ago I lost my job due to sequestration.  I found another job right away, as the thought of collecting unemployment just didn't sit right with me.  I worked for a year in a warehouse.  The job was alright.  Most of the people were great.  The pay was terrible!  Yet, I continued to work as it is in my blood to be a productive part of society.

After a year I just couldn't take it any more.  There were a couple of other reasons why I left; but, they were only a small part of why I left that job.  A part of me was missing.  In 1999, I started my little cottage industry crafting business.  I was so proud of myself.  The job that I was working at kind of got in the way of my sewing, so I let my little business slide for a couple of years.  I just kind of worked on it here and there, as I was making crazy money at my full time job.

So for the last two months I've been working solely on my little business.  Things are going well and I am again in a happy place.  I'm basically starting over as I'm now doing this full time.  I'm getting back into my sewing, which I've missed very much.  I'm also dabbling in collectibles, which is so much fun!

I'm selling my table runners, table toppers, and placemats on Etsy.  My shop is called Bluebird Crafts & Collectibles.  Not only can you find my crafts on Etsy, you will find the antique, vintage and retro glass that I sell.

You can also find me on Ebay.  My Ebay Store is called Bluebird Crafts & CollectiblesI sell a little bit of everything here.  I have auctions and buy it now items.  The items I sell are mostly glass collectibles; but, every now and again I will find a bargain that I have to offer to the world.  So you never know what you will find listed on my Ebay Store.

The best part of all of this is getting to spend more time with my family and my Grandchildren.

Please stop by often to see how I am doing or not doing!  I look forward to seeing and hearing from you all!
